HAVELOCK NEWS.
(FROM our OWN CORRESPONDENT.) ~ Havelock, April 12. A meeting of those interested in forming a Prospecting Association was held in the Town Hall, Havelock, on Friday evening, the 11th instant, Mr C. H. Mills in the chair. It was resolved : (Ist) That the rules as read be not adopted, as it is desirable to form an Association to be called “The Pelorus Mineral Prospecting Company,” Limited, with a capital of 200,000 shares of Is each. (2nd) That Messrs Mills, Crichton, J. I. Hart, G. Olliver, H. C, Smith, Venimore, F. Hayward, T. Davies, A. W. Dillon, E. Beere, Mace, and J, H. Reynolds, with power to add to their number, bo a provisional Committee to draw up the necessary prospectus. (3rd) That the amounts contributed at present toward preliminary expenses, with any others, be acknowledged to their full value in scrip when it is issued, and the Committee be empowered to order the necessary printed receipt forms. (4th) That the Committee meet on Wednesday next, the 16th instant, at Mr 0. H. Mills’ office, at 8 o’clock.
