VALEDICTORY.

(PEE PEES 3 ASSOCIATION.) Nelson, April 14. , A farewell meeting waa held at St. John’s Wesleyan Church to-night to take leave of the Rev W. C. Oliver, who leaves tomorrow for Christchurch. The rev gentle, man was presented with an illuminated address and a timepiece by his congregation, and special references were made to his successful efforts with a view to the erection of the new church. Mr Oliver expressed his regret in having to leave Nelson, and said its beautiful climate and scenery ought to be better known.
