Scratching his head, as if for the right word, the Vfitneqs suddenly appealed to, finc( ft and at ohee shouted, ‘.‘Theip prpsM(pt(o,ift I mean ; it was their prescriptions I gave to the police.” Very mercifully the Recorder excused him from farther torture.
