Sydney. February 12, Arrived, this morning—Hauroto. (Received February 14, 1.15 p.m.) London, February 12.
At yesterday’s and to-day’s wool sales, 25,800 bales were offered. The market is quiet. ' The mails per Orient B. M. S. Liguria, from Melbourne (Jan. 7), were delivered to-day. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s B.M.S. Tongariro left Plymouth this afternoon for Auckland, calling at Capetown and Hobart en route.

London, February 12. The wheat market is quiet, and quotations are nominally unchanged. Pi ices for Continental and American shipments easier. No colonial arrivals are reported. One Australian cargo has been sold at 37s Bd. For prompt shinment sellers are asking 375.
The wool market is irregular, and the recent advance has been partially lost. Only the best classes of combings, merinos and crossbreds maintain the highest rates. 200,000 bales have been catalogued, of which 18,000 were withdrawn.
