PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that, the Annual Election of rive Members for the Licensing- Committees for the under-mentioned Licensing Districts will take place as follows, namely Karori District, 24th February, 18S7 Mnngarua District, 25th February, 1887 Epuni District, 26th February, 1887 Porirna District, 28th February, 1887 Electors desirous of nominating candidates for either of the above-named districts must, before 12 o’clock noon at the times and places as per schedule below, deliver to the Returning Officer nomination papers in the prescribed form, which must be signed by two electors duly qualified to vote in the district to which the nomination refers, and also by the person named therein as candidate, in token of his assent to being so nominated. Nomination papers can ba obtained at the Eutt County Council Office, Lambton-quay, Wellington, or the Returning Officer.
