LONDON COLLEGE OF MUSIC.
THEORETICAL RESULTS. The following results of the examine tions in musical knowledge, held in Newtown School, on December 9th last, have been handed us by Mr H. Muller, local representative for the Wellington centre. The maximum points obtainable are 100, and students must gain at least €5 in order to ensure a pass certificate; 65 to 79 will entitle to a second-class certificate; and from 80 to 100 a first-class certificate. Eighteen entries were received; ail passed and received first-class certificates. The teachers’ names appear in parenthesis: Elementary—Laura J. Smith (Mr H. Muller), 99; Ethel Elackie (Mr H.
