The Masterton Chamber of Commerce has passed a resolution in opposition, to the removal of the saleyards from the oentre of the town to Kuripuni station. At the football match on Saturday between Wellington and Australia 7868 people paid for admission. The gross takings amounted to £439 6s; the grandstand takings amounted to £67- Ba.
