- A cable message was received at Ararat (Victoria) a few days ago announcing tlio death on December 20th of Dr Phelan. Bishop of Pittsburg, Penn., America. He was seventy-seven years of age, and a brother of the Rev Mother Hr cal a. of the Brigidin© Convent, Ararat, to which lie had been a couslant benefactor.
