Dear. Sir, — I took out a policy in your Office in 1875, and it became due the other day. I beg to say that the money was paid to me on the very day it was due, and that although I had only paid in premiums £164 10s Od my cheque amounted to £248 17s Od. lam so satisfied with the result of my investment that I shall be glad to take out another policy with you for £SOO. There .are policies in force in New Zealand held by various ■Societies to the extent oi 416,900,000, of which the Government Office holds over £Biooo,ooo , the other half being distributed among seven other Associations .
