Waverley also firmed up to 2s Bd. Talismans sold up to 10s Gd, and Talisman Extended shares at 2s lOd. Four-in-Hand shares advanced to 2s fid. Hanraki South and Maorilands each advanced, owing to good news from London regarding the flotation. Many of the cheaper stocks also sold freely at better rates. 3 lie Kapai-Vermont Company has crushed 2SG tons ore for 241 oz gold. Clio reef is making stronger in tho upper level in the south face. With reference to the Hauraki South mine, a cablegram from London states that tho Company is already formed, and shares will issue in a few days.

Another cablegram from London states that the contract for the sale of the Maoriland property is already signed, and all details have been satisfactorily arranged.
