An American letter received by the Melbourne Coroner shows that a man named Frank Hearn, who committed suicide at St. Kilda on Now Year's Day, is identical with Major B. P. Hearn, formerly of Lebanon City, Pennsylvania. Tho reward of jCIOO offered by the Bank of New South Wales for the conviction of Buck and Burns, who wore concerned in a series of bank cheque forgeries in Victoria, will be divided among tho detectives who were engaged in the case. Mr Vino, son of Sir Soraers Vino, of tho Imperial Institute, is ill with fever at Ilannan's Proprietary camp, Kalgoorlio.J An cldorly woman named Catherine Morey, aged 77, died suddenly one Sunday evening in St Joseph's Church, South Yarra. The cause of death was heart disease.
