HUNTING DATES. Eangitikei Hunt. June 29 —Sandon July 3 Eildon Farm July 6 —Grovely July 10—Greatford July 13 —Gowor's Hill, Turakina Eoad July 20—Marton July 24—Kilkern July 27 —Clydesdale, Carnarvon August 3—Overton.
The hounds of the United Hunt Club met at Mr Earp's, Tawa Flat, on Saturday afternoon, and had a very enjoyable run as far as Porirua. Among the field were Mr D. G. A. Cooper (deputy-master) on How's That, Miss Skerrett on The Liar, Miss Banks on Huntingdon, Captain CampbellPreston on Pink 'Un, Captain Gathorne Hardy on Fly, Messrs C. P. Skerrett on Halicore, Dyer on Swingback, B. Skerrett on Lazy, Turner on Freshfield, Matthews on Top rail, and others. The drag was laid by Mr Hyde, of Tawa Flat, and Geo. McDonald, on Judas, was in charge of the hounds, which were in capital condition. The going was sloppy, but no spills resulted.
