WELLINGTON HARRIERS.

A general meeting of the Harriers was held on Friday, Mr C. J. Cooper in the chair. The resignation of the captaincy by Mr C. D. Morpeth was received with .regret. On the motion of Mr S. P. Hawthorne Mr G. B. Nicholls was elected to the vacancy. The programme of points inns for the year was found to result in a draw between Messrs F. C. Angell and C. W. Palmer. It was resolved that two first prizes be given. It was decided that the first of the winter runs should take place from the Boating Club’s shed next Tuesday evening. The office of secretary being vacant, Mr S. P. Hawthorne was unanimously elected to the position. U A society has been formed at Feilding for the practice of gymnasts. Messrs Halcombe, senr., W. Halcombe, Treseder, Ricketts, Mills, Parr and Durrant (secretary) have been appointed a canvassing committee to report in three weeks.
