WAIRARAPA ATHLETIC CLUB.
Masterton, March 28. The fifth sports meeting in connection with the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held to-day. There was about 600 persons on the ground, and everything passed off successfully. The results were as follow : Maiden Race, 100yds.—II. R. Bagge, 1; L. Richards, 2. High Jump. —H. R. Bagge, 1; 100yds Handicap. —H. R. Bagge, 1 ; B. V. Skeet, 2. Maiden Bicycle Race, one mile.—J. Mowlem, walk over. Long Jump. — G. A. Perry, 1. 220yds Handicap. —H. R. Bagge, 1 ,• L. Richards, 2. 120\ r DS Hurdles. —B. V. Skeet, 1 ; W. Broad, 2. 250yds Championship. —W. 11. Scale, 1 ; W. Jeffries, 2. Three-mile Bicycle Race. T. L. Herbert, 1. Half-mile Handicap. —ll. G. Anderson, 1 ; A. Anketell, 2. 440yds Hurdle Handicap. B. V. Skeet, 1; T. H. Thompson, 2. One-mile Handicap. —C. Anketeß, 1 ; F. E. Dorset, 2 ; Anderson, 3. Five-mile Bicycle Handicap. —T. L.
