THE GRAND LODGE OF DRUIDS.

The establishment of a District Grand Lodge for the North Island of New Zealand has evidently proved of service to Druidism in the district, as already steps are being taken to open several new lodges. Arrangements have been made for a new lodge to be opened at Levin on Monday next, and another will be opened at Otaki within the next fortnight. Negotiations are also proceeding with several of the brethren in Hawera to open a lodge there, and Pahiatua, Waverley and Danevirke are also expected to follow suit very shortly. This shows that the establishment of Home Rule for the Druidical order in the North Island has been productive of good results, as previous to the opening of the District Grand Lodge no new lodge had been opened in the North Island for about three years. The progress made in so short a time augurs well for the future prospects of the District Grand Lodge.
