PALMERSTON NORTH GAS COMPANY.
The following is the report of the directors of the Palmerston North Gas Com- . pany, to be presented at the annual Meeting at the Chamber of Commerce on. Tuesday next Tour directors beg to submit the balance-sheet and profit and loss account for the year ended January 31st, 1895. The sum available for distribution amounts to £ll3l 7s lOd, and your direstors recommend the payment of a dividend at the rate of 5 per cent., which will absorb £750, leaving a balance of £3Bl 7s lOd to be carried forward. Mr P. W. Telford has resigned his seat upon the board of directors ; and, in accordance with the articles, of association, Dr Fell retires upon this occasion. The latter, being eligible, offers himself for re-election ; and Mr Henry Hume, a properly shareholder, has given notice of hia intention to offer himself for the vacancy caused by Mr Telford’s resignation. Mr Henry Kember, the retiring auditor, is eligible, and offers himself for re-election.”
