Freeman R. Jackson and Co.’s Johnsonvilie report (telegraphed on the 13th to the Times) is as follows We had our usual supply of cattle yarded. The quality all round was fair to medium. We think prices wore slightly better than those of last sale. Sheep were in plentiful supply, with uo improvement in value. The pig pens were full, and prices obtained were, on the whole, good. Cattle —Best bullocks .£6 16s to £,7 ; others, <£6 2s 6d to <£6 12s 6d, equal to 17s per 1001 b. Sheep —Wethers, 9s to9s 8d ; ewes, Gs to 9s Id, according to weight; store wethers, 6s 9d to 7s Id; old ewes, Is 6d to 2s 3d; lambs, 6s 9d; store lambs, 2s lid to 4s. Pigs—Small baconers, 27s ; good-sized porkers, 19s to 2is ; others, 15s to 18s ; small pigs, 6s to 6s 3d. The following is the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company’s report of the Addington market (telegraphed on the 13th to the Times) : —Fat cattle—Moderate entry; competition steady. Beef, 17s to 20s per 1001 b. Store cattle—Small entry; business dull. Store sheep Soo : yarded ; demand extremely slack in face of the dry weather; prices easier. Crossbred lambs, 3s to ss; crossbred sound month ewes, 4s to 6s ; two-tooths, 5s to 7s ; merino ewes, Is to 2s. Fat lambs —About 300 penned, extra prime commanding fair competition at 9s to 10s 6d ; ordinary butchers’ quality, 5s to 7s 6d. LONDON WOOL SALES. . London, March 13. A good selection of wool was offered to-day. Prices were maintained, and all classes of trade are operating freely. ; >;•

The following London market cablegram has been received by the TSTew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company : —Wool.—The sales progress firmly. Since the close of last sales greasy merino super and greasy and scoured merino, medium , and inferior, and coarse greasy crossbred, are par to |d per lb higher, but other descriptions are unchanged. The market for superior clothing washed and superior combing washed is weak. Up to date 43,000 bales have been sold. • i s Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., Wellington, advise that they are in receipt of the following wool cablegram from their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co. London, 12th March. —Compared with the closing rates of last London sales, medium greasy merino has advanced 7i per cent. Good greasy merino has advanced 5 per cent.
