Tho Department of Agriculture have just received from tho Agent-General a list of the prices current in ths London butter market for tho week ending March 9th. The quotations for colonial butters are as follow: New Zealand—Factory, 106 s, 112 s, 1143; dairy, 86s, 90s. Victorian Factory, 1063, 112 s, 114 s j daiiy, 90s, 102 s. New South Wales—Factory, 102 s, 110 s, 112 s ; dairy, 88s, 98s. South Australian —Factory, 10 is, 110 s, 112 s ; dairy, 90s, 98s. A footnoto states that tho official price of colonial butter is 114 s. London, April 22. The butter merchants expect lower prices next season, and stato that a reduction of freights by $d or fd will bo necessary to pay producers. Quotations for colonial butter are unchanged.
