Acceptances close at Now Zeal.inder Hotel on MONDAY, 21st May, at 10.30 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All ponios (except those holding certificates) to be measured before starting. 2. Previous peformances of horse's to bo {riven at time of nomination, also colours of the riders. 3. All races to be run under the rules of the Wellington Trotting Association. 4* tfiVe per cent, will bo deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. 5. All horses that havo never started will bo handicapped on tho same mark. G. All horses must be ridden and driven out. If distanced by first horse, second and third money will bo paid to tho winner. 7. All protests to be accompanied by a feo of 2 sovs, to bo forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous. 8. All disputes and objections arising out of tho racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, whose decision shall be final, and shall not bo questioned in any Court of law.
