Frooman Jackson's report (telographod from Wanganui on tho 18th) is as follows :Wo had full yards at < Wavcrlov. Cattle r,old without improvement in value. At Wanganui, wo did not sell all tho cattle yardod. Wethers sold freely, but owes were neglected. Pigs were limited* in numbers and sold at last rates. ('attic—At Waverloy : Forward bullocks, £4 10s ; steers, .£3 to -£3*l7s 6d; cows and calves, .£3 9s to j 24 5s : heifers, £2 10s to £i ss. At Wanganui : Cows, £3 17a ; forward bullocks, <£2 19s; wcanors, 27s 6d. Sheep—At Waverloy-. Storo wethers, 7s lid to 10s Id ; fat owes, 8s Gd to 9s 8d; two-tooth ewes, 7s to 7s 6d ; other ewes, 5s Id to 6s; lambs, 5s 2d. At Wanganui: Storo wothers, 8s to 9s 3d ; fat wethers, 10s ; fat owes, Cs to 8s ; lambs, 4s 2d to 4s Bd. Pigs—Baconers, 45s to 495; small pigs, 5s 9d to 7s. Messrs Lowes and lorns report a largo attendance as usual at their stock sale at Mosterton yesterday week. There was a good entry of sheep, but cattlo - were not well represented. Tho tono of tho market for sheep was more healthy, and prices slightly improved, with the satisfactory result of nearly every pen ' being sold under the hammer. Two-tooth mutton wothers brought 10s ; fat owes, 3s 7d; two-tooth storo wethers, 7s to 7s 9d ; full-mouth breeding ewes, 4s to 6s, the latter being a nice even, line, and well clothed; inforior aged owes, 3s to 3s 9d; boilors, Is Id to 2s 6d ; good iambs, 4s 9d to 5s 3d ; next quality, 4s to 4s 6d ; inferior, 3s 7d. Cattlo sold at about last week's rates. Pigs, slips, 15s; smallor, 9s to 12s. A few hacks wore sold at from £4 17s Gd to .£8 8s; old maro and foal by Administrator, *6lO 10s; horse, trap and harnoss, .£l7.

Tho English and Continental wheat markets aro steady, and tho American is unchanged. For forward shipments of Australian wheat on passage and off coast sellers are asking 25a 6d, but buyers refuse to give more than 2!>s. Colonial oats—Fine quality, 275; common, 225. Boans, 30s Gd; peas, 26s 3d. Tho following London cablograms. dated 17th instant, has boon received by th© New Zealand Land Association :—Wheat.— Market steady. Spot quotations have declined Gd per 4961bs since last report. Other quotations unchanged since last telegram. April 20 :—Frozen meats—Mutton market steadier. Lamb market firmer. Quotations unchanged since last telegram. New Zealand beef, forp and hind-quarters, are worth respectively 3Jd and 4£d per lb. Tallow —Market irregular. Fine mutton tallow is worth 2Gs 6d per cwt., but other quotations unchanged. Sheepskins—Market irregular.
