DOUBLE GERMAN WALLFLOWERS.
It is quite a pleasure to meet with good examples of these eld plants, and it is not the less so because it is so rarely experienced. I observed a few in the gardens at Oakleigh, East Grinstead, a month ago, and the largo massive spikes were extremey handsome I should think a bed of them would be a beautiful sight. Some of our leading seedsmen now offer very fine strains, and few peraone who gave the plants a trial would bo disappointed with the result. The present is a good time to sow, but no delay Bhould take place, as it will soon be too late to insure the beat results. Tho seed should be sown in the open ground, just the same as that of the other wallflowers.—Cottage Gardener.
