During the course of soma remarks on tbe duties and privileges of commissioners to the Fair, Sir Roderick eaid he wished to point out the danger of various officers of the commis-i-ion calling themselves commissioner*. At Auckland he had been introduced to two or three executive enmruissioasrs. To-one of them he had said ' Then you are a conaniHsioner.' and he reolied 'Yes. I am a deputy commia loner.' (Laughter.) There was a great danger of the junior office™ allowing themselves to be termed commissioners.
