SUSPICIOUS FIRE.

(press association.) AVaipawa, January 9. An unoccupied four-roomed cottage at Kaikora North, belonging to Mr Sainsbury. or Napier, was burned down early this morning. It was insured in the National, but the amount is unknown. The fire is supposed to be the work of an incendiary, as a similar attempt was frustrated a few days ago.
