His Excellency the Governor arrived yesterday morning, having been driven from Kumara by the County Chairman. He was met by the Mayor and Councillors, and received addresses in the Towa Hall. There was an excursion and a luncheon at Lake Mahinnpua, and a dinner iu the evening. Lord Onslow left for Ross at noon to-day, and starts South to. morrow morning. Mr Seddon is still with him. The weather is very threatening.
