SATURDAY, MAY 9.—Weights declared for all handicaps, except the Second Hurdle 1 1 andicap. SATURDAY, MAY 16.—Acceptances for Trial Handicap, Stewards’ Handicap, First Hurdle Handicap, and Horowhenua Cup, also entries for Selling Race, RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The above programme is confined to hacks only, and for the purposes of this meeting the definition of a hack is as follows : —A horse that has never, at any time, won a race of any deseription, hack and hunter races excepted. 2. All races will be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 3. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary fees payable, must be in the hands of the Secretary by 8 p.m. on the advertised dates of closing, unless otherwise specified. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stake. 5.
