MESSRS T. KENNEDY MAC DONALD AND CO’S LAND SALE.
There was a very large attendance at Messrs T. Kennedy Macdonald. & Co.’s land sale on Friday afternoon. The bidding for ail the lots was very keen, and as will be Been, with one or two exceptions, the whole of the lots were sold. Ttie following are the details of the sale Lot I.—The Corner Business Premises erected on part of Town Acre 225, fronting Taranaki street and Martin equare. Sold to Mr George Hancocks for £550. Lot 2.—Three roomed cottage, erected upon part of Town Acre, 830, fronting Daniel street. Sold to Mr O. IV. Clayton, for £125. Lot 3. —Building site in Daniel street. Sold to IVr O. W. Clayton, at £4 7s 6d per foot, £SII6, Bd. _ Lot L Corner building allotment, fronting Daniel street, and Donald McLean street. Sold to Mr R. Keene, at £3 2s 6d per foot, £l2O 6s 3d. Lot s—Four roomed cottage on land in Donald McLean street, sold to Mr O. W. Clayton for £l6O. Lot 6—Part of Town Acre S3O, fronting Donald MoLeau street and cottaga of five rooms, sold to Mr Michael Sheehy for £125. Lot 7—Corner business premises, fronting Cambridge terrace and Lome street, sold to W. G. Hayward for £550. Lot S—Two six roomed houses, Lome street; this property was passed in at £SOO, the amount of private offer received. Lot 9—Two tvvo-Btory six ■ roomed houses, Lome street; this property was passed in, as a private offer had been reoeived of £SOO. Lot 12.—Two-story eight-roomed family residence, College street, with doable frontage to College street aud Vivian street, held on lease from the ground landlord for 42 years from 1874, at an annual rental of £lO, sold to Mr T. W. Pilcher, junr., for £240. Lot 13. Two-story ten-roomed residenoe, College street, having a double frontage to College street and Vivian street. Held on lease for 42 years, from 1874, at an annual rental of £l6. Sold to Mr Wollerman for £240. A residenoo of five rooms in Boulcott street. Sold to Mr Charles Webb for £450. Small faun block near Shannon, containing 86 acres, of which 37 acres have been felled and sown, and about 30 chaiua of fencing erected. Sold for £3Ol. Total, £3943 2s 6d. The small farm property at Eketahuna and a building section iu Adelaide road were passed in for private sale.
