THE BANK OF ENGLAND.
(PER press association.) London, February 27. The Times states that the joint stock banks are in favour of publishing more frequent reports of their total balances, and keeping larger reserves if the Bank of England agrees not to lend money. It is expected that Russia will shortly withdraw a million and a half of gold from the Bank of England.
