While the drill instructor of the Volun teers was putting the Featheraton men through the usual exercises on Monday evening (says the Wairarapa Standard) a woman entered the hall with a bottle of water, whioh she immediately commenced to throw over the instructor, and then before he could thoroughly understand the situation she pslted him with flour, which put quite a different appearance upon his regimentals, and caused him +o beat a retreat to the rear.
