DOMESTIC TROUBLES OF A MARQUIS.

A London special says : Henry William George, third Marquis of Anglesey, and present head of the house of Paget, dating back in the peerage of England to 1550, and long famed for hia greatness and eccentricity, comes once more before the public having separated from his third wife, Minnie, the daughter of Hon. T. P. King of Sand Hills, Georgia. He was born December 9 1821, and succeeded his father February 6, 1869, to immense estates in England and Wales, but terribly mortgaged, owing to the extravagance of his forerunners in their magnincent displays in entertaining royalty. He married June, 7, 1845, Sophia, daughter •! Jame 3 Eversfield of Denne Park, Sussex, who died in 1875 without issue. His second marriage was with Lady Mary C ike, fourth daughter of the Earl of Leicester, who died in 1878. His third and present wife, whose debts he has publicly advertised that he will not be responsible for, was married to him in Paris, June 26,1880. She was tb« wifiow of Non. Henry Wodehouse, fornwiy Secretary of th* Embassy at Paris,

and only brother of the Earl of Kimberly. During her sojourn in Paris the American lady was accepted as the reigning belle, and her followers were legion. After her marriage to the Marquis, she removed to London and kept open house during the season. Her expenditures have been in the extreme, and the Marquis of Anglesey has probably been induced to ask for a separation ana hock London society by his advertisement, the hope of saving his estates.
