CARD MR. WHITFIELD respectfully informs the Merchants of Auckland, that it was his intention a few weeks’ since, to have entered into partnership with Mr. George Willson and another gentleman, but before the deed of co-partnership could be signed, a disagreement took place, and the parties seperated. The goods with the several bills of parcels, obtained by Mr. Wills n’s order, have been from the first hour of their delivery, in the possession of Mr. George Willson, of the Victoria Coffee House, at whose Store they still iemain, and no doubt Mr. Willson will be answerable for the same if he intends to keep them. Mr. Wilson has been advised several times to return some of the goods to the tradespeople, as he cannot be a tenant of Belle Vue House, and there is no possibility of any partnership being entered into. \ Belle Vue House, Feb. 5,1842. MR. WHITFIELD informs Mrs. Richardson, that Mrs. Wilson, of the Victoria Coffee House, received from him some weeks’ since, the list of with 215., all the money collected by him immediately after the unfortunate destruction of her house by the fire, Mr. W. truly regrets that Mrs. R. should have been put to inconvenience in not having received the money so soon as was intended, therefore advises her to call on Mrs. Wilson, who no doubt will explain in a satisfactory manner the cause of delay in forwarding the little subscription ; but if Mrs. Richardson should feel any annoyance in receiving the money, Mr. W. will feel happy to return it to the subscribers whenever Mrs, Wilson will remit it to him. \ Belle Vue House, Feb. 5, 1842.
