TO CORRESPONDENTS.
We have received, from Gentlemen at Kororarika, a copy of a letter addressed to the Governor, which we decline insert' ing for t wo reasons: — first, our publishing this letter would serve no public good ; — second, it would injure the reputation of the gentlemen themselves, and of our paper. I/'gentlemen from the various districts of this colony send us communications really useful, and tending to promote the general good, we shall be very thankful to them; .but our pages shall not be open to such communications ai that from Kororarika. If, instead of wrangling about trifles, some of the Bay settlers would unite with us in promoting the general good, we should have much pleasure in affording publicity to their letteis. We know the talents of some of them.
