EPSOM _WEDDING ( DONALDSON—J ERRAT Decorated with white (lowers and | polnsettia, the Gardner Road Presby- I terlan Church, Epsom, was the scene of the wedding on Saturday of Miss Elizabeth Jet-rat, only daughter of Mr | and Mrs John Jerrat, Pukcnui Road, Epsom, to Mr John Donaldson, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. T. Donaldson, of Opotiki. The Rev. J. McKenzie officiated, and the bride's brother, Mr Peter Jerrat, was soloist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming old-world frock of white organdie, sprigged with tiny daisies, and made with a high- . waisted, pint,ucked bodice, short frilled sleeves and very full skirt, A tulle veil of fingertip length was fastened by a topknot of Dutch pearl azalea, and an ivory Prayer Rook, with a trailing spray of the same flowers, was carried. The bridesmaids, Miss Pat Mark and Miss June Gresliam, were dressed alike in frocks of white drawn-thread muslin with a green pin spot, fashioned with low-waisted frilled bodices and full skirts. In their hair they wore sprays of polnsettia to match their trailing bouquets of red roses and polnsettia. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr George Donaldson (recently returned from service In the Pacific), the bride's brother, Mr Peter Jerrat, being groomsman. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride was one of the first Land Army volunteers.
