FORECAST FOR AUCKLAND FAIR TO FINE AND MILD The Government meteorologist issued to the Herald last evening the following forecast for the Auckland Province:—General situation: An antiCyclone centred to the north-west covers the Dominion, but a trough is advancing from the South-western Tasman Sea, Forecast to 5 p.m. Wednesday: Moderate south-westerly winds predominating; weather fair to fine, temperatures mild to warm. Further outlook: Cloud increasing, scattered rain late on Thursday. Barometer, midnight 30.02 in. (1017 millibars) Midnight Monday 30.00 in. (101G millibars) Temperature: Max., 71 deg.; min., 60 deg.
