Notice is hereby given that the following Resolution was passed by the Manurewa Borough Council at a meeting held on the 2-lth day of October. 1914 and that the same will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the said Council to be held on MONDAY, the 27th day of November, 1044,. in the Council Chambers. Hall lioad, Manurewa, at 7.30 p.m.:— > ' RESOLUTION In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 21 of " The Health Act, 1020," . The Local Bodies Loans Act, 102(5, and all other powers it thereunto enabling:, the Manurewa Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Bpecial Order:— Whereas the Manurewa Borough Council (hereinafter called "the said local authority',) ■proposes, pursuant to the terms of a requisition issued under Section twenty-two of "The Health Act. 1920," to raise a Loan of Seven hundred and fifty pounds (£730), to be known ns "Public Conveniences Loan, 104-1" (hereinafter called " the said Loan") for the purpose of purchasing land arid providing canitary conveniences thereon for the use of the public:— , „ 1. The term for which the said Loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed ten (10) years. 2. Tne rate of interest that may be paid In respect of the said Loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders » rate exceeding three pounds fifteen shillings (£'3/15/-) per centuhi per annum 3. The said local authority shall, before raising the said Loan or any part thereof, make provision for the repayment thereof by establishing a Sink ins? Fund under "The Local Bodies Loans Act. 102<>." or under such other statutory enactment as may be applicable, and shall thereafter mako payments to euch Sinking Fund at intervals of not more than one year at a rate or rates per centum which shall be not less than eight pounds ten shillings and sixpenco (£B/10/0), such payments to be made in respect of every part of the said Loan for the time being so borrowed and not repaid, the first such payment to be made not later than one year after the first day from which interest to the lender or lenders is computed on the said Loan or any part thereof so raised. 4. The security of the said Loan by way Of principal and interest shall be secured by B special Rate of point nought four of a penny in the notind upon the Rateable Capital Value of all Rateable Property in the Barongh of Manurewa, and that such Special Rate be an annual-recurring rate for the said period of ten years. 5. No amount payable as either interest or •inking fund in respect of the said Loan ■hall be paid out of loan moneys. G. The payment of interest and repayment of principal in respect of the said Loan ihall be made in New Zealand. 7. The rate payable for brokerage, underWriting and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said Loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed onealf per centum of any amount raised.
