HERD TESTING FIGURES (0.C.) HAMILTON, Tuesday The average production of cows tested b.v the Auckland Herd Improvement Association in November almost equalled that for the corresponding month last year. The association tested 78,328 cows last month, the aver age yield being SOOlb mills: and 37.31b butterfat. For November. 1942, 7(5,G39 cows were handled, the average production per cow being 8011b milk and 37.01b butter-fat. The best groups were Matiere-Ohura and Ngarna. The first group, comprising 814 cows, cave an average return of S7filb milk and till) fat, while Ngarua group, with 90f5 cows, yielded an average of S2llb milk and 401b fat. The highest herd was at Matakana, where 25 cows averaged 591b fat.
