KING INDISPOSED
ATTACK OF INFLUENZA ADVISED TO STAY INDOORS (Reed. 1 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 7 It is officially announced from Buckingham Palace that His Majesty the King is suffering from influenza and will he confined to his room for several days. The Press Association understands that the attack is not serious, but His Majesty's medical advisers thought it best he should remain in his room for the time being to avoid risks. ALLIED HIGH COMMAND VOROSH ILOV MENTIONED (Reed. 1 a.m.) LONDON, Dor. 7 The Oslo radio quotes a Berlin report that an Allied High Command is being established following the Teheran Conference, with Marshal Voroshilov holding very high rank. It adds that, as a result of the conference, strong pressure is likely to be exercised in the next few days on the small nations. CIANO NOT EXECUTED (Reed. 0.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 7 The German news agency has denied the report that Count Ciano has been executed, adding that proceedings against him have not yet started. Quoting a report from Mibin, the British United Press correspondent in Madrid cabled in a report published yesterday that Count Ciano, son-in-law of the ex-Duce, was executed after trial at Verona on a charge of betraying Mussolini.
