By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright .(Received December 5. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 5 The conference between President Roosevelt, Mr. Churchill and Marshal Stalin occurred several days ago in Teheran, Persia, «ays the Moscow radio. Diplomatic 'and military representatives took part in the conference, which discussed questions concerning the conduct of the war against Germany and a number of political questions. The decisions taken relating to these matters will be published later. The Turkish overseas radio quotes a message from Cairo stating that the talks dealt with the opening of a campaign in the Balkans. Marshal Stalin is believed to have returned to Moscow from but official confirmation of this is not yet forthcoming. It is expected in London that an official statement concerning the conference will be made jointly in a day or two in London, Washington and Moscow. Mr. Churchill also is expected to make a full statement on both the Teheran and North African Conferences in the forthcoming debate in the House of Commons on the war situation. Mr. Roosevelt's secretary, Mr. Stephen Early, told journalists in Washington that he did not expect any quick announcement of the decisions taken at the Teheran Conference. The spokesman at the British Embassy in Moscow said the British and American Ambassadors left Moscow a fortnight ago to attend the conference. The heads of the British and American Military Missions, also the diplomatic staffs, accompaned them. The German news agency, quoting messages from Lisbon, states that the conference was held in Soviet-occupied territory in Persia. It began on November 28 and ended on Friday. It was held behind barbed-wire and minefields. The Paris radio says that General Montgomery took part in the talks. The people of Moscow have enthusiastically welcomed the news of the conference, which is the main topic of conversation in Russia, eclipsing even the R.A.F. bombing of Berlin. This is the first time that President Roosevelt has met Marshal Stalin. Mr. Churchill first met Marshal Stalin when he visited Moscow for their conference in August, 1942.
