OUTING FOR SEAMEN
A day's outing to Hamilton, where they were entertained by the members or the Women s Auxiliary Corps, was given a party of merchant seamen by A® Institute, for Seamen (Apostleship of the Sea). The men were welcomed at luncheon by the commandant of the corps, Mrs. H. C. Ross, and spent the afternoon visiting the surrounding beauty spots, some members of the party going to Cambridge. At tea the deputy-Mayor, Mr. F Findlay, extended the best wishes "of the community and the party was farewelled at the railway station by the hostesses. J
