LARGER YARDINGS FIRM PRICES REALISED (0.C.) , HAMILTON, Tuesday Comprising chiefly wether mutton, the yarding of fat sheep at the Frankton stock sale today was larger than usual. Values were slightly lower than those ruling at the last sale, A small entry of ewe mutton realised improved prices, while fat lambs were slightly easier. An average yarding of store sheet), consisting principally of store Jambs, sold at improved values. A large yarding of all classes of fat and store cattle came forward, and values for ox beef and cow and heifer beef were again firm. A consignment of medium prime Polled Angus bullocks from Mr. A. W. Playle. Tauwhare, realised from £ll to £ll 17s. A large yarding of fat calves also met steady competition, last week's prices being maintained. A large entry of boner cattle sold ahead of schedule rates. Competition for prirno baconers and porkers was keen with prices showing a., advance on last week's rates. Top price for baconers was £4 Bs, this being the highest figure obtained for some considerable time. Stores and weaners met an improved demand, values being a shade firmer.
