EASTER WEDDING
HORNE—NICHOLAS The wedding took place quietly at St. Matthew's Church, Auckland, on Easter Monday afternoon of Miss Margaret Annette Nicholas, third daughter of Mrs. Nicholas and the late Mr. WD. Nicholas, of Paeroa, and Mr. Philip Desmond Home, eldest son of Mr. P. S. R. Home and the late Mrs. Home, of Coromandel. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Canon G. R. Coats. A smart two-piece suit of dusky pink silk crepe with knuckle-length coat and matching toque, was worn by the bride, who was given awav bv her brother-in-law, Mr. B. S. Barry, of Whakatane. She carried a shower bouquet of chrysanthemums. An attractive frock in ice blue shade was chosen by the bride's sister, Mrs. Charles Blackwood, who her. She carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Charles Blackwood .as*best man. "After the ceremony Mrs. Nicholas entertained a small group of family friends at her home, wearing a model frock of black embossed georgette with hat to tone. The bride travelled in a tailored suit of Shetland tweed.
