CHRISTMAS PICTURES
The two picture theatres in Papakura made application to the Borough Council last evening for permission to screen pictures on Christmas Day. The council decided to give permission, provided the pictures were approved. In one application the manager stated triple* rates would be paid to the staff, but if any member desired he or she would be relieved of duty.
