TRAINING CHAPLAINS
SCHOOL AT TRENTHAM A report on a school for chaplains held recently at Trentham camp was given to the Auckland Presbytery last night by the Rev. A. J. Wardlaw, who attended the school. There were 21 chaplains of different denominations present and they were given 50 minutes' military drill every day. The course also included lectures on gas and demonstrations with and without masks, stretcher-bearing, map reading, instruction on hand grenades and other weapons, and 50 minutes in the gymnasium. In the evenings lectures were given by padres of the last war.
