BUILDING SUSPENDED [by tkm«;ha['h —i'H icss association] OH RISTCH HRcn, Tuesday Because of the war no more railway trucks will be built in New Zealand and those now on hand will have to last for the duration of the war. stated the acting-district traffic manager, Mr. R. (ialla«iher, when sneaking at a conference held here to-day to consider the demand on trucks for the cartage of the grain harvest. "No more trucks will be built here," Mr. Gallagher said. "Work on them has been suspended and there will be no additional trucks available until after the war. The material for them is not available and the workshops are entaged on other important tasks. It can e taken for granted that no more trucks will be available for some considerable time."
