BEGINNING THE DAY
(Supplied by (he Council of Christian Congregations) Text.—"l am the Light of the world;, he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life " John, S, 12. Prayer.—o Thou, Who are the Light we turn to Thee. As the morning sun dispels the darkness, so wilt Thou en lighten us Give us good sense this day to walk in Thy light that we may avoid all needless pains, fears and obstacles, and when evening comes may we bo found in the deep purity and peace which Thou dost give, through Christ Thy Son. Amen.
