WORK FOR WOMEN
EMPLOYMENT IN CAMPS (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday Speaking at the opening of cluhrooins for the Women's Auxiliary Air Force at Rongotai, the Minister of Defence, tht» Hon. F. Jones, indicated the possibility of further use being found for women in war services by their employment in military mobilisation camps. The Minister stated that, reports hail been received dealing with the whole question of employment, of women in Army mobilisation camps as well as at Air Force stations. Recently the Minister announced the extension of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force movement to Air Force stations other than Rongotai, where the scheme was initiated and in:! women are employed.
