GIFT TO PATRIOTIC FUND
£2OOO FROM CITY COUNCIL A gift of £2OOO toward the Auckland metropolitan quota of tho All Purposes Patriotic Appeal was made last night by the Auckland City Council on tho recommendation of the Ma yor, Sir Ernest Davis. He added that the quota was £137,500, which he had every reason to believe would be raised.
