WOMEN'S WAR SERVICE

Preparation for participation in the defence display on Saturday. May 10, by members of the Women's War Service Auxiliary are well in hand. Parades have been held twice weekly, and next Sunday at 2 p.m.. if fine, there will be a further parade at the Auckland Hoys' Grammar School, and if wet at 1 p.m. at the drill hall. Final plans for the distribution of uniforms will he announced. In addition to members of the Auckland auxiliary, there will be representatives from Otahnhu and Franklin. Immediately after the parade, classes in first aid, home nursing, physical fitness and signalling will be resumed.
