RED CROSS SOCIETY
EPSOM BRANCH WORK The Epsom sub-centre of the Red Cross Society reported a year of useful service at its recent annual meeting. Mr. A A. Marker, secretary of the Auckland centre, was present. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr 1. J. Goldstine; chairman, Mrs. It. CaniHi'han; vice-presidents, Mrs. B. C. Moodie, Mrs. D. X. McDiarmid and Mrs. I. M. Falcon; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. L. 1. Cnpit; convenor, comforts committee, Mrs. A. K. Winstone; convenor, entertainment committee, Mrs. A. Dukes; convenor, V.A.D., Mrs. J. Hawkins: committee, Mrs. Butterworth. Mrs. B. Falhvell, Miss E. French, Mrs. G. Frost, Miss Gardner, Miss E. Goodfellow, Miss S Lawrence, Mrs. K. Peacock, Mrs. D. Ross. Miss E. Stacpoole, Mrs. D. Rushton, Miss Anderson, Miss D. Morton, Miss 0. Wnpstaffe, Miss E. Wacstaffe. Three members arc to lie appointed by the League of Mothers.
