INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE
CHEMICAL WORKERS' CASE The Emergency Disputes Committee, which was set up under the chairmanship of Mr. J. A. Gilmour, S.M., to deal with the dispute that has arisen over wages and other matters between the Otahuhu Chemical Manure Workers' Union and the employers, sat yesterday. The union was represented h.v Messrs. T. Slade, C. E. Jones and K. L. Becson and the employers by Messrs. W. Cassels-Brown, G. R. Arkinst all and M. M. Wright. At the close of the sitting tho matters in issue were referred to tho chairman fir his decision. ThQ decision of tho tribunal is final and binding on all persons directly affected by tho dispute.
