"PERFECT COMMUNITY"
PLAN FOR FLINDERS ISLAND NEW ZEALAND DAIRY EXPERT MELBOURNE. Feb. 3 A former New Zealand Government dairy expert, Mr. Peter Hansen, has planned a. "perfect self-contained community" on Flinders Island . Bass Si rait. Mr. Hansen, who first saw Flinders Island on a recent tour of Australia, is impressed by its fertility. In two months he has virtually bought control of the island, which has a population of 1200. The New Zealander intends to introduce Danish methods and also organise a local fishing industry.
